Richard Scarbrough, Jr., 24, of Meridian, Miss., died Oct. 24, 2013, near Suqualena, Miss., with his girlfriend, Jamie Logan.
Richard was employed as a property repairman.
He is survived by his father, Richard Scarbrough, Sr., of Bloomfield, Mo.; his mother, Linda McDonald of Meridian, Miss.,; one sister, Renee (Randy) Jones of Bloomfield, Mo.,; one brother, Wesley (Kim) Scarbrough of Carthage, Miss.; his maternal grandfather, Wesley Scarbrough of Collinsville, Miss.; his stepfather, Idos McDonald of Carthage, Miss.; three nieces, Taylor Jones, and Josie Jones, both of Bloomfield, Mo., and Lillie Scarbrough of Carthage, Miss.; and one nephew, Kyle Scarbrough also of Carthage, Miss. Many aunt, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian, Miss. Graveside services were held, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Collinsville, Miss., with Rev. Robert Scarbrough officiating.
Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian, Miss., was in charge of all arrangements.
